Leibovitz and Natchwey are two famous photographers in our generation but since photography is not related to my major, I am not familiar with them. To be able to write about them, I have to research more such as watching a documentary film about them, read their autobiographies and so on.
Both photographers are very famous and well known artist in different fields (of course they work in same field but I thought the reason why they take a photo is different so I just wrote like that ). Leibovitz had worked for rolling stone magazine for commercial and she has taken many famous people's photos(even the queen of the England and obama and many famous stars with family) until now.
I think she has the ability to capture the person’s character. That’s why she didn’t fail to bring out the mood or the character of her models to all the pictures that she took. And also, some advertising company chose her because she has her style in commercial photo shoot. She represents creativity in all of her works. All of her works seem like having a story that make me courious.

However Natchwey is called " A legend of news photo ". He says "If your pictures aren't good enough, you are not close enough". That's why he goes to a battlefield and takes pictures of the vivid truth. He wants to get an attention from the people to let them that a war can't be justified by any other reasons. Although It’s dangerous to stay there, he might think it’s worth. Leibovitz and Natchwey have different reasons why they take pictures...So it's difficult to compare each other. But the common thing I can see is the values of them through the photos they took. It’s the way to say what they want to say. Every photo they took can impress on people's mind, sometimes easier than a word to understand. It has a really strong power. So I thought This is the reson why visual anthropology is exist. We try to be closed to know who are they, what they do, what they think and learn about them and take photos everything even a small things. Just like what they did. And then we might know and get closed to them a little.

A Portrait of Japanese friend.

She's name is  "Nagisa Yamazaki" and 19 years old. As her family lives in "doyama" pretty far a way frome here, She lives near our school alone. She is my friend's spk partner but we became a friend because she is interested in studying  korean and her korean is pretty good. It could be one of  the reson why we became closed. She  loves to hang out me & my friends. When we go out, we use Korean, Japanese and English. So languges doesn't matter to communicate at all. I met her more time than my speaking partners. I took pictures above when we went to Univeral Studio in Japane last saturday. During last week, we met 3times. Isn't it suprised? We spend wonderful time and took a lot of pictures!!!
When I met her for first time I thought she is korean. She doesn't look like Japanese. Her make up style and the way to dress up is not similar to Japanese. But when it comes to personality, I can totally say that she is Japanese. She never says "No" and she is kind to everyone. Always smile and answer whatever i asked.
Look at the picture above. She always smile like that!!!!  I think Her smile makes people feel happy and comfortable. I like to meet with Nagisa because whatever I did she always smile and accept it.

The reson why i took this pictures as a portrait of her is I wanna show her smile to everyone. It looks pure and natural. She show me her beautiful smile every time I meet her. I love to make her smile.

I live in Seminer House4. I took this picture at CIE building on 4th floor. I realized that bathroom on 4th floor is best place to see the sight of Hirakatasi. It is nice view but it looks like boring countryside.
The place I used to live is filled with high buildings and apartments. Most of time it is loud and crowded. And every facility is located within 15min. However buildings in Hirakatasi are low and I can barely see apartments.
The most interesting thing is that most houses, restaurants and buildings are small and cute. even cars are cute. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in the doll's house in museum.

The one thing I surprised is a lot of Japanese have pets. Everyday I saw people walking the street with pets on my way going to school or home. Also I can see a lot of pets at a park nearby seminer house everynight.
It is not common in Korea. I think they love pets. Most of my Japanese friends have pets at least one!! I would love to have but my apartment would not let me to have a pet.

Japanese usually ride a bycicle and There are less cars than korea. everyday morning I can see people who wear suit riding a bicycle. It's never happened in Korea.

This is my neighborhood!!!! When I ride a bicycle on the street, they let me through the way and hold their pet not to move. They consider other people first in any situation. I admire this aspect of Japanese.
They are Kind, Quit and Really nice!!!!!
