Early impression in Japan

When I arrived in Japan, I felt many things ..clean, beautiful, kind, silent things....  But It was not exactly same as what i expected. Korea and Japan are close and Korea has been infulenced by Japan in many ways. So  I thought that we had many things  in common... but It was totally different. Even though we are closely located , we have different personalities & cultures. First, Japanese are really kind. They never say "No" directly. Secondly, they are quite in public. Once I took a subway to go Osaka. we talked loudly and then I realized that we were the only group that talked in the subway. we were so embarassed. Lastly, I think that Japaneses also tend to be so perfect. It seems that there shouldn't be any mistakes according to Japanese.  Everything in Japan is so perfect. They clean and arrange everything. In addition, they work very hard.  The picture above represents my early impression in japan. I have been told that " Are you Japanese? " so many times. Although Korea and Japan have similar appearances but we can never be the same in any way. We can be look alike but we have different colors in our mind. I don't mean that I don't like Japan. I like Japan, Japanese food and especially Animation.

This pictures are not fruits , fishes and sushi. It's valantain chocolet!!! I think it's just awesome.
Japanese are the most creative people in the world. They always invent new things that I've never seen. Since I arrived at the airport, I've seen the products that have very interesting functions which i've never seen in Korea before. Such as character products , convenient products and outrageous things!!!!

My early impression in Japan was a little negative because I was afraid of studying in abroad. But now I think I am getting used to my new life in Japan so I want to know about Japan more and more.

  2. I am happy that your first impressions of Japan, after getting here, are so positive. But no place, including Japan, is perfect. I look forward to your observations from your Korean perspective as there are many similarities and differences between Japanese and Korean cultures.
